Senior Product Manager, Micro-entrepreneurship 

Job Description 

The Wadhwani Foundation (WF) provides programmatic interventions to micro-businesses in specific sectors. Our goal is to help these businesses expand and thereby increase the number of individuals in family-wage jobs.  

The WF programmatic interventions are delivered via our GenieAI platform. These interventions include:  

• Sector-specific content powered by AI that addresses micro-entrepreneurs’ needs in key business topics  
  

• Copilot tools to help micro-entrepreneurs complete key business tasks  
  

• Human services such as Masterclasses, Mentor and Financing Connect, and Community Forums  
  

• Train-the-trainer services to catalyze roll-out 
  

WF offers our programmatic interventions without charge. We partner with other entities (such as governments, corporations, and non-governmental organizations) to provide implementation support and other assistance to micro-businesses.  Our initial focus geography is India, and we expect to expand our offering to additional emerging economies in the future. 

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to spearhead our micro-entrepreneurship offerings on the GenieAI platform. This person will be responsible for building compelling user experiences, driving micro-entrepreneur capacity-building, and accelerating micro-entrepreneur jobs growth. The Senior Product Manager will collaborate closely with senior leaders, other members of the Product team, and members of the Content, Go-To-Market, Product, Engineering, and Design teams.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Conduct Need and Opportunity Analysis: Analyze micro-entrepreneur needs and strategic opportunities in order to inform our market requirements definition. 
  

• Develop Product and Process Requirements: Create product requirements definitions and supplementary process documentation.. 
  

• Drive Product Launch: Manage the development and release of key product features. Subsequently, test those features in Beta with strategic partners and micro-entrepreneurs and refine those features as needed before production launch. 
  

• Drive Product Enhancement Based on Market Data: Seek user feedback and identify enhancements for subsequent build cycles on regular basis based on feedback from strategic partners and micro-entrepreneurs. 
  

Skills & Experience 

• 6+ years of experience as a Product Manager
