Job Description – Procurement Transformation Manager

Overview:

Manages and delivers programs that support the transforming procurement landscape along with process

engineering vision and digital technology awareness to drive true changes in Procurement.

Program scope will include deploying innovative technology globally, artificial intelligence/ Generative AI

solutions, big data analytics and unified source-to-pay process changes to streamline and optimize end[1]to-end operations.

Key Responsibilities:

▪ Support the process of gathering, defining, prioritizing, and assessing business impact of

requirements for new capabilities and enhancement requests (e.g. new project request process

coordination)

▪ Ensure approved Procurement projects delivers the objectives and meet budgets and schedule.

▪ Identify and assess project opportunities and assist with tracking/status management of prioritized

projects.

▪ Ensure process excellence and identify improvement opportunities.

▪ Work with technology partners, provide advice on current solution/capability options – i.e. how to get

the most out of the Accenture infrastructure and how to negotiate technology roadmap issues to

achieve procurement goals.

▪ Assist with researching and assessing Source to Pay capability options both internally and externally,

to provide business focused expertise to Business Leads.

▪ Provide input at a strategic and tactical level, towards key goals of increasing spend under

management, reducing purchase cost of services, improving value delivered and increasing

adherence to internal controls.

▪ Work at a detail level with Procurement Plus extended teams to identify ongoing quick wins/new

strategies, and to assess implications of technology related initiatives.

▪ Share Procurement Plus success stories at industry events, with GTM teams or client teams as

needed in peer to peer connects

▪ Support in strategies for right balance of skills, process and technology in the source to pay

landscape.

▪ Create scope and plan to implement big data and GenAI projects.

▪ Data and Analytics - Use Data to drive decisions, simplify transaction creation and prompt actions

through smart insights.

▪ Technology - Using new technology, delivery approaches and shared technology to create a digital

framework.

▪ User Experience - Improve user experience through simplifying the process, tech enablement and

focus on what user needs in the buying experience.

▪ Policy, Procedures & Operating Model - Define Framework to operate in the new / changing operating

requirements. Create a transformation eco-system aligned with the policy and procedures.
