Technical Lead
- Data Warehousing: Design, develop, and maintain data structures that facilitate efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval in an enterprise data warehouse (EDW).
- SQL: Proficiently create, debug, and optimize stored procedures, functions, and views to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Python: Leverage Python for scripting and automation tasks, enhancing data workflows and processes.
- Data Modeling: Efficiently design data pipelines by understanding the project needs and creating Source to Target Mappings (STTM), Technical Specs with a scalable & performant architecture in Snowflake.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and cleansing data, identifying and resolving anomalies, and implementing data quality checks.
- Collaborative Spirit: Work closely with cross-functional teams including data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
- Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing is ideal. But experience with other DW tools like SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA will also be considered.
- Strong proficiency in SQL programming, including the ability to create and debug stored procedures, functions, and views.
- Experience with Python for scripting and automation tasks is preferred.
- Prior experience with SAP data structures in Logistics space (Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, MM modules) is a strong plus.
- Prior working experience in DBT modeling, Airflow orchestration is nice to have.
- Self-motivated and eager to take ownership of projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
