*An ability to learn new technologies quickly.
*Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
*OSI layers detailed understanding of each layer’s function and relevant protocols that operate at each level.
*Ready to work in rotational shifts in 24x7 operations.
**Thorough understanding of various routing protocols (link states, LSA types, area types, ISIS & BGP, router types)
*Difference between Routing and Routed protocols Good troubleshooting approach (from Level 1 to 7 of OSI)
Education/ Certification
CCNA/JNCIA or equivalent (Preferred).

Work Location :- Pune
Job Description:
* Operations and maintenance of backbone links , PEER links, cross connest & IZO links and devices in 6453 network
* Following with partners & providers in troubleshooting and restoring impacted backbone links, PEER links, XC & IZO links.
* Coordinating with Field operations teams for remote hand support during router line card/Power supply modules problems and for fiber patching related issues.
* Good experience in using Service Now (SNOW) ticketing tool for incident ticket & Tasks handling.
*Supporting for scheduled Activities on network element.
* Reporting network status to key stake holders through Major Event notifications & AT Risk notifications
* Routine daily reports updating on portal for offnet backbone outages.
* Troubleshooting and resolving service assurance complaints from IPSOC , Voice team & other Cross functional teams on AS6453 IP network related issues like reachability, latency & packet drops.
