Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
  
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 5 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
  

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  
• 5 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  

Responsibilities

• Own the direction and execution for your team, and define, shape, and drive the team's technical vision and road map.
  
• Own the overall work product of your team — which includes design decisions, engineering and operational excellence, decisions on project priorities, as well as timely execution of these projects. Be the thought leader for your team and own its impact.
• Build successful partnerships with teams across Product, UX, and Global Business to deliver on our overall mission.
• Develop and grow talent through effective mentoring and coaching. Build a culture of User Focus (i.e., fast, seamless, compassionate solutions), Inclusivity, Quality, Collaboration, and Creativity.
