Assembly & Test Tech - Level 2

Position Purpose/Summary:

Complete assembly and testing of products with highest quality products to customers. 
Expertise in Production Activities like Assembly, Soldering and Testing of products with Zero defect delivery to the customer, Strong knowledge of Safety , follow the HSE & Lean Processes during operations, Active engagement in BIQ( Build in Quality).

Major Areas of Responsibility:

1 Adherence to safety standards and follow HSE cardinal rules.
2 Ability to read and follow written instructions and work orders.
3 Assembly of Plastic, Metal assemblies and FG assemblies as per the work instructions.
4 Wire crimping, Duct cutting, routing of wires etc.
5 Set up machinery and prepare equipment to get the line running after a stop.
6 Administer all production flow and collaborate with supervisor to identify all process and equipment issues.
7 Load and unload products on the production line including chamber testing, packaging or unpackaging of products.
8 Mechanical aptitude, able to read mechanical asemby drawings.
9 Hands on experience in asembly and allignment work.
10 Functional testing of products and cabinets.
11 Labelling and packaging of the product 
12 Adherance to  BIQ.
13 Adherance to SOS and other QMS/ISO processes .
14 Test equipment monitoring and raising alarm for any quality and safety issue.
15 To meet Daily/Weekly/Monthly Production Plan.
16 Faulty finding, Analysis and Repairing of the in process rejected/faulty electric and electromechanical parts.
17 Ability to assemble and maintain the test equipment.
18 Basic computer knowledge , MS Office- Word, Excel etc
19 Go Beyond and Act with Urgency to deliver Quality product.

Supporting  Activities :

1 Support HSE activities
2 Support HOS activities - Kaizen, 5S, Root Cause Analysis.
3 Execuation of  TRUN's for ECNs and  Provide feedback for abnormalities 

Qualification and Experience:

ITI with NCTVT OR equivalent technical qualification/Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical  with 2-3 years experience. Specialist Skills and in depth knowledge of Electronic Products/Wire Harnessing , Electromechanical Products, Test Equipments 

Knowledge requirement:

Effective  communication with his fellow worker and supervisor. 
Techincal and production procedure understanding
Basic understanding of product, basic understanding of schematics/drawings

Soft Skills: Basic Knowedge of MS Office - Word , Excel prefferred.

Technical Skills: Repair, Diagnosis, Potting Process, Understanding of product and component datasheets, Soldering, Wiring, Crimping, Handling complex mechanical assemblies.
