Visit us at www.accenture.com About the role This role is at Research Specialist (Level 9) level within the Accenture Research Data Science Global Team. It will be fully dedicated to support our Growth and Strategy research team with a focus on Asia Pacific and Latin America regions. The candidate will focus on the creation of new models and analytics to support market and competitor analysis in these markets, as well as on the creation of interactive dashboards. We are looking for curious candidates that will combine data science skills, creativity, and analytical capabilities to accelerate Accenture’s data-driven business research and insight discovery. Key Responsibilities include: • Foster the adoption of data science research tools and outputs within Accenture Growth & Strategy teams (statistical modeling, text analytics, sentiment analysis, data-wrangling, machine learning, clustering, web-scraping etc.) • Curate data assets in conjunction with Accenture Growth & Strategy team, data scientists, and researchers to build value-added models and tools • Participate with Growth & Strategy leads to identify original analysis and insights through the curation of market data What we offer: • We have access to 100+ business data sources through our research data lake. We are constantly expanding our universe of data from commercial and open sources and partnering with premium data providers to improve quality of inputs into our models. • We provide several unique training opportunities to continue your growth, including both internal trainings, on the job, personal exploration time to work on novel methodologies without the constraints of a projects and with leading universities. “Hard” skills: • Track record in statistical modeling and data science. • Deep understanding of a wide variety of data sets related to Asia Pacific and Latin America, including finance databases as well as databases on talent/skills. • Excellent understanding of modeling tools (Python) and techniques • Skilled in SQL queries, experience validating data flows and prepare ETL processes according to business requirements. • Knowledge of Cloud environments is a plus • Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to make sense out of data • Understanding of business dynamics and how to incorporate them into data science models • Understand the opportunity to structure and combine disparate data to provide original insights. • Excellent English • Familiarity with NLP models “Soft” skills: • Strong interest in Technology and Business analytics and research • Interest and knowledge of Asia Pacific and Latin America • Enthusiasm to work effectively - independently, collaboratively, and virtually - in a global, multi-cultural, multi-time zone team • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately and effectively • Problem solver approach to work • Strong professional qualities: client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience to stress against stretch goals and deadlines • Strong communications sk
