Job description.
The Accounts Payable Executive is responsible for managing the operations of accounts payable for network and non-network related vendors for India & International subsidiaries. The Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate vendor and GL balances and handle various audits – Internal, Statutory & IFC etc. while continuously working toward process improvements and best of class service.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
I. Operations: Handling the operations of the Accounts Payable maintaining various KPI e.g. maintain the TAT, POT matrix, accuracy in reporting and compliances…etc.
a) Assigning workflow, assigning tasks, and meeting deadlines.
b) Preparation of schedules related to GL – for Monthly/quarterly/half /annual closure of books.
c) Co-ordinating for the audits - Internal, Statutory & Sox.
d) Monthly close and general ledger reconciliation responsibilities
II. GST reconciliation: Accountable for GST input credit mismatch resolution related to suppliers, interlock with supplier and business team.
III. Vendor reconciliation: Accountable for vendor reconciliation, interlock with supplier and business team.
IV. Process Improvement & projects: Assistance and support in system improvement projects.
V. Internal controls & Audits: Ensuring adherence to internal control procedures, establishing, and maintaining accounting standards and procedures.
VI. Preparation, examination and analysis of Data: This includes various historical and/or forward-looking MIS, metrics related to AP & GL to Senior Management.
VII. E-Sat & C-sat : Focus on Internal Customer & Employee satisfaction while executing the activities.
VIII. Stakeholder connect:
a) Interaction with internal key stakeholders wrt to various issues and way forward.
b) Interlock with entity Controllers for entity related deliverables.
c) Interacting with Internal / external stakeholders for resolution of queries and RCA & CAPA thereof.
Education:
Bachelor/Master's degree in commerce
Final/ inter – CA or CWA / MBA
Experience:
1-3 years of professional experience in Finance including accounts payable function. Specifically, from Telecom industry
Skills:
· SAP expertise (SAP) – FI-CO & MM
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Knowledge of GST Provisions
· Effective interpersonal & communications skills
· Ability to handle multiple priorities
· Ability to work in a team environment
