Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Credit Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit risk, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining accurate records of all transactions. This role requires a deep understanding of the Lloyd's market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with brokers and clients.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS INCLUDING PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in credit control process for all accounts within the Lloyd's market.
• Monitor and manage outstanding debts, ensuring timely collections.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and present regular reports on credit control activities and outstanding debts.
• Resolve any payment discrepancies and disputes in a timely and effective manner.
• Implement and maintain effective credit control policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices.

 

Other responsibilities and skills required:

• Understanding and working experience of Lloyd’s/London market including both Bureau and Non-Bureau world.
• Hands on experience in IMR and USM.
• Should be able to work on strict deadlines to fulfill client’s expectations.
• Should be extremely agile and proactive while dealing with high and sudden volume spikes

 

Competencies:

• Working knowledge of Credit Control.
• Good Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
• Good knowledge of complete MS Office suite (MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook).
• Good decision making/analytical skill along with ability to prioritize & multi-task.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-7 years of experience in Credit Control.
