Description
GlowRoad is a reseller model marketplace that allows suppliers to sell their products to end customers via resellers in over 20,000 pin codes across 2,000 locations. Resellers, who are often housewives, temporary workers,Social media influencers or students, help the company target Tier II ,III and rural markets. GlowRoad was acquired by Amazon in April 2022. We target to grow rapidly while also focusing on long-term sustainability. This is a unique opportunity to build a platform which reaches out to new users who do not shop online due to barriers like affordability, trust issues, language etc.
Key job responsibilities
The person will be responsible for key metrics as stated below for his/her category
- Topline and Bottom-line metrics
- Pricing
- Selection
- Merchandizing
- Stakeholder management (External and Internal)
- Projects to deliver growth
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of with Excel experience
- 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
- Experience in vendor negotiations, pricing and promotion, inventory management, and product development
