The Legal and Regulatory Department excels in legal counsel, compliance, and stakeholder engagement converge to ensure our organization's success within the dynamic landscape of media and entertainment. What will you do?

  • Negotiation and Contract Drafting: The legal counsel adeptly negotiates, reviews, and drafts agreements concerning content production, acquisition, and licensing, ensuring clarity and adherence to legal standards
  • Due Diligence and Rights Management: Diligently conducts due diligence and rights checks prior to content acquisition, maintaining and updating rights management databases and checklists to safeguard against legal risks
  • Advisory and Guidance: Provides informed counsel to officers and senior management on contractual rights and obligations, intellectual property rights, content regulation, and strategies for dispute resolution
  • Legal Support in Business Transactions: Offers comprehensive legal guidance to the commercial team on various legal aspects of business and commercial transactions, including rights delineated in diverse agreements
  • Collaboration with External Legal Partners: Works collaboratively and coordinates effectively with external advocates and counsels of the company, ensuring alignment with legal strategies and objectives

    • Who should apply for this role?

  • Experience and Qualifications: 7-9 years post-qualification experience (PQE), with a minimum of 2-4 years served as an in-house lawyer within a corporate setting. Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating agreements is essential for this role
  • Skills and Expertise: Strong drafting and negotiating skills, coupled with proficiency in commercial deal-making. Demonstrated advocacy skills and a comprehensive understanding of Copyright laws
  • Personal Attributes: Demonstrates enthusiasm and a proactive approach to legal challenges. Exhibits excellent organizational skills and ethical conduct. Displays a strong work ethic and thrives in a collaborative team environment
