Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control procedures and best practices to monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints
• Conduct regular analysis of project costs, identify variances, and provide recommendations for cost optimization
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to track and report project expenditures
• Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, forecasts, and financial statements for management review
• Participate in project planning meetings to provide cost control insights and contribute to budget development
• Review and validate project invoices, contracts, and change orders to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in the development of cost estimates for new projects and support the procurement process by evaluating vendor proposals and pricing
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to cost control and recommend process improvements as necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in cost control, preferably within the renewable energy industry
• Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and optimizing project costs
• Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree or professional certification in cost management or finance (preferred)
