Assist in the delivery and management of System of Quality Management (SoQM) projects, including planning, execution, and reporting. Support the testing and review of controls for KPMG member firms while collaborating with the Canadian Risk Management team. The detailed responsibilities include:

§ §SoQM Control Testing: Assist in performing SoQM control testing and operational reviews under the guidance of the Senior and Assistant Manager. § §Documentation Support: Support the documentation of processes and controls through Risk & Control Matrices, Flowcharts, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). § §Walkthrough Calls: Lead walkthrough calls with process owners under the guidance of a Senior. § §Preliminary Testing: Conduct preliminary tests of design and operating effectiveness of controls as directed. § §Best Practices Collaboration: Collaborate with team members to identify and implement best practices in control testing. § §Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate records of testing results and assist in preparing reports for management review.

Educational qualifications

•Bachelor’s degree (BBM / / BBA / / BCom /) from an accredited college/university•Additional certifications in Risk Management or Internal Audit (e.g., CISA, CRISC) are a plus.

Work experience

•1-2 years of relevant experience in Risk Management, Controls Testing, and/or Internal Audit.•Familiarity with SoQM, Operational, and Compliance audits is preferable.•Experience working in a team-oriented environment is desirable.
