Job Title: Infrastructure Operations Manager (Night Shift)

Location: Bangalore, India

Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager to operate in the night shift. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Azure platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, and have excellent troubleshooting and technical support abilities.

Preferred Experience:

• Demonstrated sound understanding and hands-on experience with one or more public cloud technologies eg: Azure Cloud 
• Provides tier-2 support for operations and support teams, including root cause analysis and preventative measures.
• Strong experience with Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Ability to automate configurations and deployments using cloud-native Azure services.
• Demonstrated experience with Terraform.
• Proficient in scripting tasks using PowerShell, BASH, or other industry-standard scripting languages.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows OS.
• Hands-on experience with hardening and securing applications, cloud environments, and firewalls (Palo Alto and Azure Firewall).
• Ability to effectively create architectural and operational documentation (Visio, build guides, runbooks, security controls, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Leadership skills in driving initiatives, responding to audits, and creating and maintaining practice collaterals.
• Experience in team and performance management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring and Maintaining Cloud Systems:
   • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of cloud-based infrastructure and applications.
2. Incident Management:
   • Promptly respond to and resolve incidents such as system failures, networking issues, or application errors. Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and implement effective solutions.
3. Technical Support:
   • Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers, manage inquiries, and resolve technical issues related to cloud systems.
4. Infrastructure Optimization:
   • Identify opportunities for resource allocation, cost optimization, and capacity planning. Implement changes to enhance efficiency and system performance.
5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
   • Document support processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions. Share best practices and knowledge with team members to maintain an efficient support environment.
6. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
   • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and network engineering teams to ensure smooth operations, deployments, and overall system performance.
7. Incident Reporting and Analysis:
   • Participate in incident reporting and analysis to identify trends and recurring issues. Implement improvements to enhance system reliability.

Qualifications:

• College degree or equivalent experience (7 to 10 years).
• Linux System Administration Essentials (LFS207).
• Microsoft Certifications – AZ-104 and AZ-400.
