Senior Technology Specialist - Product Lifecycle Management

Configuration Management

Configuration Owner is continually in touch with demand management team to understand demand pipeline and configure Enterprise IT solution and/or platform according to the requirements.

Accountable for technical design and specification of Enterprise IT solutions and/or platforms.

Act as technical solution provider during analysis of business requirements.

Govern configuration changes to Enterprise IT solutions and/or platforms.

Ensure technical design and configuration is aligned with relevant enterprise architecture, development roadmap, and process of Enterprise IT.

Technical Design 

Create fit-for-purpose and fit-for-use technical design based on demands and requirements, taking both functional and non-functional aspects into consideration. Make sure technical design is in alignment with applicable KONE quality and compliance standards (e.g., cybersecurity and data).

Align own solution and/or platform with KONE data models and standards, document data objects and models of own solution and/or platform at technical level.

Understand the technology trend and business demand to recommend technical improvements for own Enterprise IT solution and/or platform.

Provide technical input for applicable estimation of implementation and change effort.

Maintain up-to-date technical specification documentation in accordance with applicable architecture guidelines, is accountable for overall quality of the technical documentation of own solution and/or platform.

 
Coaching and Collaboration

Provide technical coaching to the development and/or support team.

Actively contribute to peer coaching and sharing best practices within Configuration Owner communities.

Ensure IT development and release processes are followed.

Actively collaborate with stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and communicate technical design of new feature development, enhancement and change request. Ensure integrity and availability of the Enterprise IT solution and/or platform.


Other considerations

Responsible for technology management activities and supporting in all tasks related to technical health, upgrade, and maintenance of the IT systems.

Play an active role in cyber security compliance. 

Participate in operational excellence initiatives such as DevOps adoption and automation.

Support in license compliance and cost optimization.


Deliverables

Technical design and specification documents (for projects and continuous development).

Data standards, technical data models of own solution and/or platform; data integration diagram and data mapping at technical level according to KONE data standards.

Approval of unit test cases and unit test results, performance, and security test plans.

Technical training materials for support purpose.
