As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within our Break Management team, you will play a crucial role in strengthening our processes. Your primary responsibility will be to gain a deep understanding of our payment products. You will independently review and resolve any discrepancies, ensuring that they are appropriately addressed. Job Responsibilities:

• Review the evidences provided by operations on the breaks investigated by the operations team and close the breaks
• Perform various control functions to ensure high risk break (outstanding Nostro/Non Nostro breaks) are reviewed and escalated in a timely manner to senior managements 
• Build and review key metrics to measure controls, outstanding breaks across payments operation and build efficiencies
• Perform various tasks to reconcile balances in the account and clear breaks in some cases
• Work closely with technology, reconciliation team, operations and client service teams to reduce outstanding reconciliation breaks 
• Generate efficiencies by reviewing existing processes, improving Straight-through Processing (STP) & decrease payments breaks across the operations team 
• Ensure accuracy in processing in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with no errors.
• Identify & escalate all error/exceptions on identification.
• Respond to and resolve inquiries in a timely manner.
• Comply with the firm's policies, SOPs and check points. 

 Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Strong knowledge on payments; thorough understanding of the end-to-end transaction life cycle
• Strong understanding of SWIFTs (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunications) 
• Timely escalation of all pending breaks
• Can build strong working relationships across global cross functional teams, including Front Office
• Can operate effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
• Analytical mindset and high attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task effectively to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to manage internal clients & stake holders
• Problem solving skills and ensure quick resolution by coordinating with relevant groups
• Flexibility to work global hours
• Work on automation and reduce manual touchpoints
