Role Purpose

The role is responsible lead testing vertical key technology initiatives for digital marketing, aimed towards increasing sales and spends on digital. I work towards managing testing function for key digital capabilities on internet facing customer channels (SBI CARD Retail Application, TATA CARD Retail Application, Invoice Portal, Audit Portal, C2B and C2S etc.).

Role Accountability 

1. Define the scope of testing within the context of each project/release
2. Create detailed project plans and WBS plans to illustrate resource allocation and scheduling tasks
3. Plan, deploy and manage the testing effort for any given engagement
4. Build up test cases and reviewing them for all cycles of project/release
5. Ensure correct and sufficient test data creation of test environment for SIT and UAT users
6. Identify critical test scenarios of application and automating them
7. Introduce or enhancing test framework for optimum use
8. Prepare engagement reviews, periodic communication and presentation to senior management team
9. Collaborate with shared services teams on IT infrastructure, application server platforms, integration layer, CMS advanced consulting to dive new implementations and solve any issues
10. Ensure adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

1. Knowledge on Java
2. Knowledge on SQL Database
3. Knowledge of software testing, functional testing and agile methodology
4. Knowledge of web application testing on cross browser / devices
5. Experience in testing tools such as ALM, QC, Load Runner, etc.
