Our Team 

Our team is engaged in designing, delivering and supporting Digital Tech Services for all CHC worldwide. 

We deliver our solutions in a highly competitive market answering FMCH needs and sometimes supporting regulated environments (GxP, SoX and other regional or local regulations). 

Our team operates in an international context, serving all markets in most of the countries around the world. 

Digital Tech encompasses following capabilities: Integration, Enterprise Architecture, Operations, Cloud engineering, Platform Engineering (e.g. DevOps & related framework), Enabling Platforms (ServiceNow, Observability, Chatbots, RPA, …), Digital Workplace and more “classical” infrastructures (hosting, network, servers, …). 

Within CHC Digital Operations we want to develop a stronger Site Reliability Engineering (“SRE”) approach, based on current market best practices.  

Reporting to the Digital Workplace Lead, we are seeking a highly skilled Device Expert to lead the management, optimization, and support of our device ecosystem. This role will focus on all aspects of device management, including Microsoft Intune, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), Printer Queues management and industrial devices, with an added emphasis on automation and reporting. 

 

Main responsibilities 

 Device Management: 

• Help to define and manage the hardware life cycle from end to end. 

• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers and specialized industrial tools. 

• Ensure seamless integration of all devices into the company's IT environment. 

Intune Product Ownership: 

• Help to define and manage the software life cycle from end to end. 

• Intune Administration. Utilize Microsoft Intune for Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) on all kind of operating systems including MAC OS. 

• Implement policies to secure, update, and maintain compliance across all devices. 

VDI Product Ownership:

• Help to design and manage a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure to provide reliable and secure virtualized environments for end users. 

• Design and set up a proper strategy for the packaging and deployment of remote applications. 

• Optimize performance and ensure scalability of VDI solutions.

Automation: 

• Develop scripts and tools (e.g., using PowerShell) to automate repetitive tasks, such as device provisioning, policy deployment, and compliance checks. 

• Design and implement automation workflows to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Industrial Device Management: 

• Handle the unique challenges of industrial devices, ensuring their integration, security, and smooth operation within the IT framework. 

Reporting: 

• Leverage built-in reporting tools within Intune to monitor device compliance, performance, and security. 

• Help to develop advanced reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI to provide actionable insights for management and IT teams.

• Automate report generation and distribution to keep stakeholders informed about key metrics and trends.

Security and Compliance: 

• Enforce robust security policies across all devices, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

• Regularly audit device configurations and security settings. 

User Support and Training: 

• Provide tiered support for device-related issues, ensuring quick resolution.

• Conduct training sessions and create documentation to empower end users. 

About you  

Technical background required:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, with various proven experiences in international context across global organizations. 

• Experience and ability to create and manage product roadmaps that align with business objectives and drive strategic initiatives.

• Experience interacting with vendors and stakeholders to ensure alignment, resolve challenges, and enhance product delivery.

• Proficiency in tracking and reporting product usage and adoption metrics to evaluate success and inform decision-making.

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune and VDI technologies (e.g. Azure VDI, VMware, Citrix), and industrial device management.

• Hands-on experience with Intune's reporting capabilities and familiarity with Power BI for creating detailed dashboards and reports.

• Experience designing and managing the hardware life cycle from end to end.

• Ability to analyze data and present insights effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong problem-solving knowledge & experience and strong troubleshooting skills.

• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.

• Experience delivering training and creating user guides.

• Good understanding of Information Technologies (including cloud, network…), architecture, … 

Soft skills required:

 

• Fluent in English.

• Curious and open-minded, « out of the box » thinking with growth mindset, willing to stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in device management and automation.

• Proven experience working & performing in global team, in a matrix organization, with strong capacity to manage activities across web meetings and collaborative solutions.

• Ability to lead & take ownership even in unclear situations. Contribute to clear the unclear

• Ability to provide innovative solutions, propose ideas to solve a problem by implementing them.

• Agile and continuous improvement mindset, with critical-thinking and root-cause-analysis paradigms.
