GDS SaT – Assistant Director– Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy (Working Capital Advisory Services)EY’s Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy – Working Capital group is the largest group of dedicated specialists in cash and working capital in the world. Working Capital helps our clients by identifying, evaluating, and prioritizing actionable improvements to liberate significant cash from working capital. We assist organizations in their transition to a cash-focused culture. Working Capital identifies areas for improvement in cash flow optimization and forecasting practices and then assists in implementing processes to improve cash management and create the frameworks to sustain those improvements.

 

The opportunity

We’re looking for an Assistant Director with expertise in Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Forecast to Fulfil, and Cashflow forecasting process design and analytics. Your key responsibilities

• LLead project teams to develop opportunity assessments and business transformation projects in the Working Capital and Supply Chain space. • Drive commercial growth while working in a fast-paced, exciting environment leveraging strong business acumen to drive value to our clients. • Assist in aspects of pursuits, including presentations and client meetings. Contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work. • Develop technical and business capabilities to support achievement of career goals, through a blend of structured learning, coaching and experiences. • Build strong working relationships with senior stakeholders, including influence, advice, and support to key decision makers. • Proactively develop new products/services in consultation with EY practices • Measure, monitor and improve client service by guiding team members and driving excellence in service delivery • Focus teams on the key priorities while managing several medium to large size projects • Develop excellent relationships with global stakeholders and be responsible for a high degree of client satisfaction with engagement process and work products

 

Skills and attributes for success

• Process Transformation experience- candidates with hands on experience of operational turnaround services - process design and improvement, planning, inventory management etc.
• Experience of working with stakeholders in global landscape 
• Ability to determine risks and opportunity areas, assess findings and communicate insights   
• Proven experience in interacting with senior management of clients  
• Excellent problem solving, project management, facilitation skills  
• Excellent people management and interpersonal skills 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing final presentations

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Post graduate degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Analytics from a premiere institute

• Track record of delivering performance improvement projects related to supply chain/inventory optimization, sourcing/procurement or sales/accounts receivable that deliver tangible results (cost reduction, increased cash flow, etc.).

• Strong analytic mindset and familiarity with common analytics tools such as Excel, Alteryx, Power BI/Tableau, etc

• 10 + years of PQE in: • Management Consultancy firms,  Big 4 or financial firms.

• Large Indian corporates with exposure in Supply Chain / Working Capital activities, analytics, business modelling and planning
