Job Description

Approx.3+ years of BIW/Closure relevant experience
Good experience Using CAD tools - UG NX CAD software(Added advantage) or Catia V5 - part design, surfacing, assembly, drafting. Experience in development of BIW concepts and component designs.
Perform technical feasibility checks with respect to material, manufacturing, packaging & product design aspects.Sound knowledge of product design & development of BIW part/assemblies.
Sound knowledge of FMVSS & ECE standards.
Excellent understanding of Drawings, GD & T and BOM preparation.
Should have qualities like taking ownership to plan & execute the tasks successfully
Good knowledge of PLM.
Assisting Team lead/Senior engineer in planning and executing the team goals/tasks.
Work closely with team lead to develop each applicable component/sub-system to meet all mass, cost and performance targets.
Should possess good written and verbal communication skills
Adapt at using problem solving techniques, to resolve validation/assembly/manufacturing & interpersonal issues.

PRIMARY SKILLS

Experience in passenger car BIW - Bonnet, Hood, Fender, Roof, Closures BIW, UGNX(Preferred)

SECONDARY SKILLS

Should possess good written and verbal communication skills

Adept at using problem solving techniques, to resolve validation/assembly/manufacturing & interpersonal issues.
