Solution Architect- System Admin

About this opportunity:

Solutioning, design, deployment of physical, virtual & cloud servers. Would be responsible for leading the team of system administrators responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems and servers in customer environment. Below are the high-level expectations from the role:


Responsibilities:
The Solution Architect Automation will be responsible for analysis and solution development for all appropriate automations within MOAI ADC DevOps Center using Ansible, python and relevant tools.
Translate the business specifications into technical architecture and develop the technical specifications of the automation required.
Hand-shake the technical specifications with the end-user and secure agreement for the same.
Develop the HL Design and write the HLD document.
Ensure the automation application fulfills all the functional and extra-functional requirements agreed with the end-user.
Be a technical lead for the system administrators’ team. 
Participate in establishing, enforcing and maintenance of processes and procedures required for meeting software development SLAs.
Participate in the establishment of software development SLAs.
Support the Automation development team during development and implementation (roll-out) of the solution. 
Automation/Operation of official release processes of Products

Experience:

  • At least 10-18 years of relevant experience for the position of Solution Architect. 
  • Expertise in Solutioning and Administration RHEL (OS installation, OS hardening, basic OS level security , User & resources administration) 
  • Expertise in Virtualization technologies, and Virtual Network functions deployment and administration
  • Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes, deployment, and administration of on-prime cloud setup as well as public clouds
  • Ansible, Python programming skills, knowledge, and development experience, primarily on UNIX / Linux platform.
  • Working knowledge of AWS, GCP and Redhat Openshift.
  • Experience Kubernetes, Helm, Chef, Fabric, Puppet or SaltStack, Openstack and cloud experience.
  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics or similar other means.
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing IT strategy and plans.
  • Deployment of various software frameworks like HA Proxy, Keep Alive, Pacemaker, Java, python, NGINX etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Configuring High Availability of Linux/Application Clusters.
  • Deployment & Administration of various SQL & NSQL Databases like Postgres, Redis, Cassandra, Mongo etc.
  • Application deployment (Deployment of JAR, WAR, finding dependent packages required for deployment etc.). 
  • Compliances on Security Hardening & implementation of same against the VA Scan from customer. 
  • Working understanding of Virtualized environment and application deployment on same.
  • Working Knowledge on VMWare or equivalent would be an added advantage.
  • Expertise in deployment of cloud native applications and manage its operations.
  • One shall be aware of SDLC and DevOps concepts.
  • One shall be able to create CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins/Gitlab/Azure-pipeline.
  • Knowledge on Container orchestrator
  • Experience in Jira and Agile based delivery.
  • Hands-on experience in build and administer VMs and Containers using tools such as Docker, Vagrant, Kubernetes
  • Experience in the following languages is a requirement: Java, Java Script, JSON, YAML, XML/XSLT, Python
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open-source technologies and tools for Continuous Integration and Delivery
  • Experience with systems and IT operations.
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • Strong grasp of automation tools
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching beyond functional borders to seek knowledge
