Purpose/Objective: To create new service offerings and manage existing offerings, enable the sales, solutions and delivery for winning and delivering the security offerings respectively & support in revenue growth.
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or cyber security
Certifications: Industry-recognized certifications such as CCIE Security, Fortinet NSE-7/NSE-8, Other Network Security or Cloud Security specific certifications will be good to have.
Experience :
⦁ 12+ Years of experience in Cyber Security field
⦁ Proven track record of individually contributing and leading Cyber Security Team.
⦁ Experience in managing and responding to security incidents and management.
⦁ Demonstrated success in designing and implementing enterprise-wide infrastructure and cloud cyber security programs.
⦁ Knowledge of Security Audits, Compliance, Risk Management for enterprise
Key/Major Activities:
1. Security Architecture and Design:
⦁ Design, implement, and maintain secure Infrastructure and cloud security architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
⦁ Provide expert guidance on security best practices and ensure the integration of security controls throughout the enterprise network.
2. Leadership:
⦁ Develop and execute a forward-thinking cyber security strategy aligned with business objectives.
⦁ Provide leadership in the design and implementation of enterprise-wide security programs.
3. Market Research and Analysis
⦁ Perform deep market analysis for Cyber Security Technology roadmap,
⦁ Perform competitive analysis and understand the gaps in the current offerings.
⦁ Create a robust roadmap to develop security offerings that is needed in the market to address the current challenges.
4. Security Offering Development and Management:
⦁ Evaluate the financial aspects of offering development, such as budgets, expenditures, research and development appropriations, return-on-investment, and profit-loss projections.
⦁ Create and manage winning partnerships with key stakeholders including Technology and service vendors, commercial partners.
⦁ Coordinate products marketing activities and policies to promote products and services.
⦁ Deliver Though leadership and lead the business development activities in the respective domain to increase the value and positioning of the portfolio and the organization.
5. Budget Management:
⦁ Manage the cyber security budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and technology investments.
6. Business enablement and Market Development: Work with Organization Sales and Presales groups to develop the market for existing and new offerings of Security.
⦁ Conduct workshops to make field force to understand and pitch the offerings aptly to win the business.
⦁ Create an environment for PoC, Demo, etc.… to ensure customer win.
7. Thought leadership.
⦁ Develop niche whitepapers, write technical blogs to gain the mindshare of the customers.
⦁ Create canned videos and canvases with the help of marketing to publish.
⦁ Create various market facing assets like collaterals, flyers, datasheets to help field sales to easily pitch the offerings.
⦁ Work with marketing to participate in various events.
⦁ Target to create intellectual property in Cyber Security domain and create a commercial offering of the same.
8. Delivery Enablement.
⦁ Working with Various delivery teams like Network Security Teams, SOC Teams, Audit Teams etc. to train the on the security offerings and help them deliver the offerings successfully to customers.
⦁ Conduct skill development workshops to keep the knowledge intact.
⦁ Work with L&D department to get the enhanced skills, advanced lab exercises, industry certifications completed for niche candidates/SMEs.
Skills and Competencies:
⦁ In-depth knowledge of cyber security principles, practices, and technologies.
⦁ Strategic thinking and the ability to align security initiatives with business objectives.
⦁ Working knowledge on Network Security, Cloud Security, MDR, EDR, SOC, Application Security, Audit and Assessments (VA/PT), etc.
⦁ Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks & risk Management.
⦁ Experience in Incident Response and mitigation including Forensics.
⦁ Experience needed in delivering Security Awareness and Training Programs.
⦁ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
⦁ Excellent collaboration skills to work with inter-company departments like Sales, Solutions, Delivery, various other business functions including shared services.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of cyber security professionals.
