Responsibilities
Roles and Responsibilities- Designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems to meet the specific requirements of the Copper industry
- Leading and overseeing electrical maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repair of equipment and systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with overall plant operations
- Performing regular inspections and audits to identify potential electrical hazards and implementing preventive measures
- Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, standards, and safety protocols related to electrical systems
- Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and maintenance staff
- Participating in the planning and execution of plant expansion and improvement projects
- Conducting cost and risk analysis for electrical projects and proposing feasible solutions
Qualifications
Experience- 7 - 16 years of experience in electrical engineering within the Copper industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully leading electrical projects and maintenance activities
- Proven experience in developing and implementing electrical systems and processes
- Strong understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Certification in Electrical Safety and Compliance
