Manager - QA/QC
Responsibilities
| Job planning to carryout inspection including - planning of given resources, non destructive test activities, internal audits and test package activities |
| Qualifying & implementation of welding procedures & establishing & implementation of inspection test plan, job procedures, quality control formats etc |
| Quality assurance / quality control activities for non destructive test, piping, structure, static & rotary equipments, painting, PWHT, insulation etc. which include Inspection of materials, Welder qualification, proper usages of consumables materials, Daily fitup / dimensional / weld visual activities |
| Inspection and certification of in-coming Piping and others materials for confirmation with Purchase Orders, Relevant Codes, Standards and Specifications. |
| Implementation of ISO 9001 and other QMS activities including Conducting internal audits, reporting non-conformities, Follow up of preventive & corrective action, Closure of non compliance reports. |
| Inspection at vendors workshop, Review of vendor documents, Preparation of dispatch clearance certificate for acceptable materials |
| Implementation of QA/QC Training and Communication program to increase QA/QC awareness and competencies |
| Should be aware of in International & national Codes and Standards like API 1104, B31.3, ASME SEC II, SEC V, SECVIII, SEC IX, ISO-9000, NACE, ASME, API, ASTM, ANSI, BIS & BS code |
| Encourage the quality inspectors to create field observation report for activities deviating from requirement |
| Conducting joint walkthrough with the construction representative on fortnightly basis |
| review the status of field observation report, NCR, punch list |
| supervision of activities relative to the collation of Final Hand Over documents |
| Able to read fabrication drawings |
Qualifications
| Educational Qualification: |
| Diploma / Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related area, with a Master's degree preferred |
| Experiences: |
| 12-18 Years of relevant work experience with 7 years minimum in the similar role in a large / mid sized organisation |
| Experience of dealing with multiple stakeholders (Internal and External). |
| Familiarity with relevant legislative and regulatory requirements, as well as knowledge of codes & standards |
| Ensuring various QMS Audits and Certifications |
| NDT ASNT level II certifications |
