Responsibilities

• Develop and implement mechanical maintenance procedures to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of copper industry machinery and equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on mechanical systems and equipment to uphold safety and regulatory standards
• Provide technical expertise in the planning and execution of mechanical system upgrades and installations
• Participate in the development and optimization of preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical equipment
• Utilize engineering principles to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical failures and operational inefficiencies
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement in mechanical engineering processes
• Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and source high-quality mechanical components and spare parts
• Train and mentor junior mechanical engineering staff, fostering a culture of learning and development
• Adhere to Adani Group's safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment for all employees

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering within the copper industry
• Demonstrated experience in maintenance and operation of mechanical systems
