Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mechanical maintenance team to ensure the effective functioning of machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement maintenance procedures, including predictive and preventive maintenance programs, to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee the inspection, repair, and maintenance of mechanical components and systems, such as pumps, compressors, conveyors, and crushers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address mechanical maintenance issues, optimizing production processes and equipment performance.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct root cause analysis of failures to identify and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards, promoting a culture of safety and best practices within the maintenance team.
• Conduct regular assessments of maintenance activities to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes to enhance reliability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and support for troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical issues, leveraging expertise to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in the selection and procurement of spare parts and equipment, maintaining inventory levels to support maintenance activities.
• Stay abreast of industry developments and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions for enhancing mechanical maintenance operations.

Qualifications

6-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance within the Copper Business industry.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
